    hey all--

    had the right removed this morning and i feel pretty good. hopped up a bit on medication but i'm not feeling a lot of pain. in fact, the pain was worse before it was removed. should get path reports back late tomorrow or wednesday and will be curious to read....will let you all know.

    right inguinal orchiectomy 6/5/2003 > nonseminoma, stage I > surveillance > L-RPLND 6/24/2005 for recurrence, suspected teratoma but found seminoma, stage II > chylous ascites until 9/2005 > surveillance and "all clear" since

      Right when I arrived at the hospital (about 2 hours before surgery), the cancerous nut started to ache, almost as if it knew it was coming out.

      I agree with Rover that day 2 was the worst. What made me feel a lot better was being able to finally take a shower and to lay off the vicodin... the constipation was bad.

        Treated by Dr. Rakowski of Midland Park, NJ. Visited Sloan Kettering for protocol advice. RPLND done at Sloan Kettering.
