    I just want to share my happiness with all of you - I just got my results back and I can officially say that I’m “clean “ from TC for over 2 years ( 2 years and 5 days ) !!!!
    2/18/05 I/O , 90% embryonal carinoma , 5% yolk sac , 5% Teratoma , RPLD 3/7/05 , 3 nodes < 5mm , AFP 2 , hcg < 2 , IIA non seminona, Surveillance...

    right inguinal orchiectomy 6/5/2003 > nonseminoma, stage I > surveillance > L-RPLND 6/24/2005 for recurrence, suspected teratoma but found seminoma, stage II > chylous ascites until 9/2005 > surveillance and "all clear" since

      That is so awesome. I can't wait until my husband gets to celebrate his 2 year!!!
      Co-survivor with husband Boyce, Diagnosed 7-11-06, orchiectomy right testicle on 7-12-06- Stage 3A: Mixed germ cell tumor with inguinal seminomatous and kartotypic carcinoma. One tumor over 10 cm, second tumor 4 cm, Chemo 4xBEP: Bi-lateral RPLND Dec 2006, nerve sparing but left sterile.
      Current DVT
      Current testosterone replacement therapy, Testim.

        Two years from the end of remission means your cured. Congratulations but don't skip any follow-ups.
        Son Jason diagnosed 4/30/04, stage III. Right I/O 4/30/04. Graduated College 5/13/04. 4XEP 6/7/04 - 8/13/04. Full open RPLND 10/13/04. All Clear since.

        Treated by Dr. Rakowski of Midland Park, NJ. Visited Sloan Kettering for protocol advice. RPLND done at Sloan Kettering.

          Ain't it great? I'll have a whole bunch of two-year anniversaries to celebrate this year. Coming up on 2 years from end of chemo.

              3xEP then determined not working
              HDC w/stem cell transplant 8/16/06 to 9/25/06
              Chest and Neck surgery 10/9/06 - immature teratoma
              RPLND 11/16/06 - immature Teratoma
              2/29/2008 - markers continue to be normal!
              9/16/2008 - released from Dr. Einhorn's care

                  Diagnosed 2/3/07. L I/O on 2/7/07. Clean surgical margins, no vascular or lymphatic involvement. 99% Embrynol and 1% teratoma. Neg. CT and CXR pre-op.
                  3/20/07 AFP, HCG, LDH and CT scan all within normal limits. 4/9/07 L-RPLND with only one day in the hospital!
