thank you for the reply Robert...I've asked and they will take out all the left lynph togheter, in one big pack...they will make fast istologic exam during surgery on my left template (after removing) just to be shure that unilateral is enougt for me, otherwise they will proceed with right nerve sparing dissection.
    tks

ps. they want to read again my glass (cells of the testis revmoved) if there is no vascoular invasion laparoscopic will be an option for me...
...doc told me that this error on reading are not uncommon...laparo is safe like open?

Laproscopic is effective when done by an expert. Just remember that if they have any difficulty getting to some affected nodes they may have to revert to a full open.

        Davide,
It is good they are looking at the slides again to see if you have other options. It is normal to be anxious, but many guys here have gone through RPLND and can help you.
Retired moderator. Husband, left I/O 16Dec2005, stage I seminoma with elevated b-HCG, no LVI, RTx15 (25Gy). All clear ever since.

It doesn't look like there was any teratoma in your pathology, so hopefully they won't find any in the lymph nodes either. CTs normally come up when teratoma is involved. I'm down to one CT every 8 months at this point, not quite 2 years out from my RPLND (we pushed the surveillance schedule back up when they found teratoma in my lung last year).
