    Righty is still Mighty!,

I went in because its been almost 6 months anyway, and I had some swelling/discomfort at the epididymis. Urologist agreed that the epi was 'prominent' and off I went for the US (he said it may be inflammation due to backflow from straining when I urinate, since urine came up clean).

The sonographer disallowed me from watching. When she started doing doppler, and spending A LOT of time on the testis, my heart sank. I then started asking her very pointed questions "Why are you doing doppler?"..."Because I do doppler"..."the doctor didn't request doppler"..."We do it anyway", "Do you see a hypoechoic region inside the testis"...she nods no. .."Do you see any tumors?"...she nods no, then tells me to relax. She then shows me the pictures and says that she is calling in the radiologist. I couldn't figure out why she called the radiologist. She later told me that she saw that I was stressed and wanted him to reassure me.

He came in, and we briefly discussed the unchanged calcification that was evident in my first US. He told me not to worry and that everything looks normal . Phew.

Im in the exact same situation as you(minus the calcification), I went for the U/S and got scared aswell.

I too feel my epidimys is very palpable, except my C-reactive protein which is a marker for inflamation is low although I dont know if that is relevant.

have you noticed your scrotum is more tight then before the op?

I am asuming I am gona start arimidex soon as my estradiol came back high along with FSH oddly, TT and FT is at a good level. I have heard of some guys having testicle pain and aromatase inhibitors sorted it out for them, have you had itchy or sore nipples?

      Hi Michael,

The only low T symptoms that I have are a bit of fatigue and some joint pain, especially my right knee. And for a while my scrotum was drum tight, but with the warm weather it's been relaxing. Now my survivor sometimes hangs much lower than what I remember, but this may be an optical illusion. When my scrotum is tight, my 'package' actually looks quite normal. When, loose, it's fairly obvious that I only have one.

No, I never had sore or itchy nipples, but that may be a result of lower T. Does that resolve when your levels are normal?

      Regards,

      djm

        Yo dude,
This sounds like my experience with my surveillance US. In my case, they knew what they were looking for. Two radiologists and three techs were there, all ogling at the monitor. They were nice enough to let me look at the screen while they were doing the doppler and everything. They also produced the report on the spot. I guess they were exceedingly nice because it was my first stop in the long day of CTs and bloodwork.
Great to hear that righty is still mighty. Unfortunately I couldn't find a rhyme for saying that lefty, in my case, is still going strong.

Itchy nipples are from elevated E2 or low T causing E2 dominance, In almost all cases it stops when E2 levels return to normal.

I am strongly suspecting my problem is high E2 as it has gotton worse lately and my blood test results have shown even higher E2 due to TRT.

I think you should get a blood test for TT, FT, SHBG, FSH and E2, basicly to check E2, its upto you if you wanna try an AI or see if this problem resolves on its own, but I know myself it is driving me bat-****-insane.
If you wanna try do something about it fast, try get your hands on some nolvadex.

Is your libido the same compared to before diagnosis?

Have you mentioned that to your doctor?

I dont know why you would put up with it?
