  • Kman99 Surveillance Thread

I'm not sure why I can't find my original and nearly 2 year long thread, but in the spirit of keeping this going until my 2 year anniversary date, here's a quick update..

March 2007 - my chest XR and blood work tests were done in Bermuda on March 22nd. Results of all clear finally received on April 11. Gotta love how quickly things move here.

April 2007 - CT scan and blood work in Boston at DFarber on April 11.
    All clear.

Next up are tests done in Bermuda in May and June....then, drumroll....my July CT scan in Boston. If I get through the next 3 months, I'll offically surpass the 2 year mark of being cancer free. This is a hurdle I very much look forward to and intend to celebrate well.

    All the best!

Kick ass, dude!! You know, I think we have the same doc at DFCI (Robert Ross). I'm seeing him in June for my next set of labs, and this time the radiology will be done at DFCI and not at Brigham (nasty contrast agent...)

I'm sure you are anxiously awaiting crossing the 2-year mark. Here's to that!

Thats great news Kman! The 2 year mark will be one to celebrate! So any thoughts about running the marathon next year!? Tell Sarah we said hello.

Hey Fed, Dr. Ross was my onc up untill i switched to a doc closer to home (and because of some insurance issues). Good guy. Tell him Kevin Roy says hello.

Congrats man. I remember getting to the two year mark. My mom and I picked up some Lobster and Potatos and chowed down on the deck.

To hear those 3 words, you are cured, will be music to my ears. Rest assured, my wife and I will celebrate. Only down side is my appointment is on a Monday....meaning Tuesday am will have hangover written all over it! I can't wait.
