Well, we went for Thomas' last chemo week this morning -- it would have been his 4th round -- but the doctor said he's done. You might remember that there was some discussion about whether to do 2 rounds or 4 rounds of chemo since Thomas was post-RPLND. The surgeon said only 2 rounds was necessary, but the oncologist thought we should go with all 4 rounds. So we did 3 rounds and had to wait until after yesterday's bloodwork and the oncologist appointment this morning before he made the final decision to stop at 3. We're ok with that!

He goes back in 1 month for bloodwork and CT scan (I think) and to see the oncologist; then the regular follow-up schedule begins. I'm so relieved to have this behind us, but it will still be a bit of a worry for years that it may return in some other form. But, phew, chemo is done! Yippee!

I'm so thankful for everyone who posts about their experience, because it helped so much for me to have some idea about what Thomas was going to go through. And I wish everyone good luck and hope you get well soon.
