Hi,
I've lost one of my testicles a couple of years ago.
Now I have to choose an appropriate implant to replace the missing testicle.
The only option in my country are Silimed Polytech's implants.
"They are available in two different variations, both with a smooth surface to avoid tissue ingrowth:
1) silicone gel filled type
2) highly polymerised silicone type.
The silicone gel filled type does have a fixation pad at the top end of the implant. The other type consists of a highly polymerised silicone with a reinforcement at the top end that also allows fixation. Both available in different sizes allows to find the most suitable replacement for the individual patient"
Silimed says that the major difference between the two types is their concistency.
I really do not have any idea which one will be better. And that's my question. Has anyone of you any experience with Silimed's products? Which one of the two types should be more like a natural testicle?
The gel filled one might be a bit softer but I'm worring abut the gel filling...
Any thoughts?
