  • I'm all clear!.... thanks for the support

    I finished chemo a few weeks ago then had a CT scan about a week later and everything is clear! I have been running around and living life since then and never got around to posting on here.

    I want to thank everyone on here for their support. Your kind and knowledgeable words helped a lot. Thanks to those who I messaged specifically (PMed).

    Right I/O - 100% Embryonal Carcinoma
    AFP Slightly Elevated and CT Scan shows two swolen nodes,
    3xBEP began March 12, 2007. Am now all clear and on surveillance

      Co-survivor with husband Boyce, Diagnosed 7-11-06, orchiectomy right testicle on 7-12-06- Stage 3A: Mixed germ cell tumor with inguinal seminomatous and kartotypic carcinoma. One tumor over 10 cm, second tumor 4 cm, Chemo 4xBEP: Bi-lateral RPLND Dec 2006, nerve sparing but left sterile.
      Current DVT
      Current testosterone replacement therapy, Testim.

        Excellent news, congratulations!!!!! Run around, enjoy life...but don't forget those follow ups!
        Retired moderator. Husband, left I/O 16Dec2005, stage I seminoma with elevated b-HCG, no LVI, RTx15 (25Gy). All clear ever since.

            Great news !Gongrats!
            2/18/05 I/O , 90% embryonal carinoma , 5% yolk sac , 5% Teratoma , RPLD 3/7/05 , 3 nodes < 5mm , AFP 2 , hcg < 2 , IIA non seminona, Surveillance...
