hi Nancy, I have been thinking about you so much. I remember hugging you good bye at Sloan and not wanting to leave you there. You are such a loving and giving person...we can all see where Michael gets it from. If you need anything, please call.

Thank you all for your posts.
Just taking it day by day here...
And these days seem long. Things have settled and now we wait...
Seems like I'm doing a lot of this (...) lately.
Hmmm...
Danny and I ran into Laquisha tonight and she got so excited that before she could drop her fake Louis Vitton handbag she yelped with joy and began to...
Oh well, I'll leave it to the imagination.
Gnite forum family...
Mikey

Welcome Nancy!
Be proud of yourself!!...and your boys. Of all of like's tasks, for me, your boys have mastered the ultimate!
Thanks for the update! How exhausting!!! Remembering Russell's Bleomycin Toxicity diagnosis right after the chemo..."surgery would have to be delayed." There was a trip to the ER with a broken hand, (in went into a wall after he started on the high dose steroids and a little frustration jumped on board) and then a long ER visit when he got phlebitis in a large chest vessel. After the long ordeal, he was sent home on baby aspirin! There has got to be a better word than insanity...for me it covers part but not all. You go in sane, but you still have to stay connected and alert in order to understand what is going on. Will have to work on that one.
Still picturing Danny with no cancer found!!! Keep us posted on the humor.....take care, Sharon

I'm sitting here shaking my head. Boy, Danny, you are one tough cookie! Nancy, you have raised two remarkable young men. Don't mind the poetry on this thread, it has a way of describing our emotions. Danny is being treated at the best possible place and one of these days you are all going to get on that plane to Arizona rejoicing. Keep the spirit. Dianne

Danny's got real strength. So does the Family that supports him.
I'm pretty sure Danny feels this way about you Michael:

My heart sunk for a moment Michael, but it was so good to read that
it wasn't as serious as you first thought and Danny is back home.
You guys are always in my thoughts.
Nancy, you've got two wonderful sons!
Maria, I'm hooked on Wii too!!! I love it!!!

Michael:
After 400 miles and 4 days of riding for people who have or had cancer I will ride on Aug 3rd for love, it will be the day I carry the picture of you and Danny. It's an odd thing how the universe has a certain amount of karma because Aug. 3rd is also Nancy an my 33rd anniversary. The last day of the ride is for Jason, it's his picture that will carry me home.
Wishing you much love and peace
I'll take a big hug on the 11th
Bill

Such a scare! It must have been a horrible flashback day. I'm so relieved things were less serious than what everyone thought. Glad to hear Danny is taking it in stride.
Its great that you've got the green light for chemo and my fingers will be in a pretzel hoping for good blood counts and an easy day.
Here's hoping Woody Allen helps you relax!

Hi Nancy: If you're reading this, I just wanted to say what fine young men you have raised...and their bond is something that is the envy of anyone with siblings! Please take care of yourself.
Hi Michael: I know it's the wee hours of the night in the East Coast and my heart just sank reading your post - I let it sink only for a brief while though, because the better half of my heart (the cheerleading, optimistic side) realized that if anyone can get past this hiccup, it's the "Brothers Extraordinaire." That's officially what I'm calling you two...nothing short of that in my book! Despite that I've only been visiting this site since February - thread after thread, post after post, I'm very aware of the bright lights that linger around you and Danny...there's something very special (besides your funny side). Regards to Danny...glad he's keeping himself pre-occupied with the Nintendo. (Is it the Wii? I'm embarassed to admit I'm addicted to that.) And you get some rest too.
Here's hoping for a less stressful Saturday and for good news in the upcoming days ahead.
