Well Friday is another CT. Three and a half years post tc2, and I still get freaked out. You'd think I would be used to it by now, but....
Oh, well, keep you fingers crossed for me.

Hi Bro,

I have my first post-therapy CT on Friday. At this point I'm not too worried actually. I just had a clear CT in April and a clear PET in May, so I kind of feel like, it is what it is. I can't change anything by worrying, and the odds are good for another clear one. If only that mentality could stay with me 100% of the time...LOL.
I've had that lump in my throat and ache in my stomach while awaiting my test results and I'm new to this crappy game. I do know you can't let go of hope. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you...

Waiting to hear test results is very humbling to say the least.
Right before I'm about to hear my sons results I come close to hanging up the phone because I begin to panic inside, or when the doctor comes in the room, I search his face for clues and my heart starts to beat like a race horse, and it becomes difficult to swallow.
From what I keep seeing on this board, those that have been at this for years still say that fear remains. On one hand it really sucks, but on the other hand it may well be that fear is needed to keep everyone on their toes with follow-up.
Prayers for good results are with you.
