Boyce went in for his CT results so I thought I would post about them...feels like everyone here is waiting for news too.

No sign of new cancer...great news of course! The blood clot thing seemed to get a rise out of our doc (which if you knew him you would know how rare that it). He just can't seem to understand why Boyce is having the DVT and he seemed frustrated by it. I don't think they are going to do much about it, but they did tell him he could take an asprin daily. ((Brace yourself for knee deep sarcasm)) Gosh all this high tech medicine and Boyce is all cured of his blood clot with a baby Bayer. It's a miracle!

I just really I think they need to look at this issue further but I am having one of those nights where I realize that I am not in charge of this. We had stomach injections (lovenox) and he was on Warafrin, now the clots are still here and he is on...baby Bayer...Oh well.

Boyce also has a small hernia they found on the CT scan, but they are not concerned with it. Of course the good news being that the rest of the scan is clean. They did say they would be looking in his lymph nodes for a return of cancer and he said...yeah but post RPLND I have no lymph nodes and the doc said they could grow back. Ever heard of this before??

    love you guys!!

Hi Kelly: Great news for you and your hubby Tim on the all clear. Andy & I both get physicals every year...just for good measure (and we were doing this long before he ever got diagnosed). Keeping positive that it will be many more "ALL CLEAR's" for Tim.

Hi Margaret: That's great news also on the clear results for Boyce! You'll have to forgive me if you've posted this on another thread, but where does Boyce have blood clots? Also, I'm really anxious to know if you get any responses about the lymph nodes growing back...my heart just sank. We see our oncologist tomorrow and I'll ask him about it, too. Best wishes as always!

Hi sweet Maria, Boyce has many blood clots in his jugular and in other areas in his neck, chest and arm on the right side. Only about 8-13% of people with DVT have it in their upper body. I will post some further information here:
