Hi all
i was diagnosed initially in 2005, underwent orch. and then went into surveillance. after a year of being clear, found a tumor near one of my lymph nodes in my abdomen. i finished chemo the end of march, and ct looked clean, so i'm back in surveillance.
i've got my second post-chemo ct on tuesday, and i'm freaking the hell out.
i've got a small, painful lump under my left nipple, and vague aches in my abdomen. i've read that the ache is not unusual after chemo, and not always indicative of new cancer, and my research online suggests that cancer lumps are rarely painful to the squeeze. individually, i don't know i'd be so worried, but together i'm powerfully afraid.
am i being paranoid? i feel like so soon after chemo its hard to imagine the cancer having had the time to rebuild enough for be noticeable.
anyway, thanks for reading
