Thanx Margaret, you are a true sweetie

Had a bit of good good news.....the docs have said that gerrard can fly commercial airlines but he would need to do it asap, so my brother, Lawrie, has organised their flight home on Thursday Night!!

We will deal with the next step when we see him, but soooo glad he is able to come home.....will keep you all posted....

P.S. thankyou Robert for your support and effort.....Michael, thanx for your message of support.....Gerrard has not been able to read your message yet, I have let him know that you have written to him, so hopefully over the next few days he might get a chance to read it.

    Thankyou all once again

    Jenny

The doctors in singapore have just got back results from the ct scan and it is showing that his lungs a totally riddled with cancer....they are now believing that his symptoms (cannot walk, slurred speech, blurry vision) is not from the tiny lesions in his brain but lack of oxygen due to his lungs.....

Our dilemma now is if and how we can get him back home....his docs are saying that the only way is by paying 95K US......we are trying to find a way......

    Thankyou all again

Gosh Jenny, I wish I had the money to give you.

    Jenny,
I am very sorry to hear that , and hope that he can be comfortable. Is the $95K for the medical needs while he flies? Can he fly? You may want to try to ckeck with the airlines...many of them have compassionate programs for transporting those who are so ill and really need to be somewhere else. I donate my miles to such programs with a few airlines out of the US and it's worth the calls. There may also be docs who volunteer for this as well. Stay stong Jenny. My prayers are with you and Gerrard.

Hi Jenny: I'm so sorry to read about the tough times Gerrard is going through. Sounds like he has a wonderful support system in his family and friends, which is a blessing beyond belief. Having three brothers myself who I love and adore, I am particularly touched by your relationship with your brother. Good luck and peace to you all in the upcoming days ahead.
