Ha Ha Mom and dadmo love me best. Sorry for that outburst. Just breaking out my humor shield again and trying to lance (good choice of words) some pesky demons. (You know what I mean my Jersey Sister). .
Mark, this is going to hurt- so I'm just going to come out with it. Mom and DaddyMo Love me the most, it has always been that way- and always will!!!
I'm going to get the nicer car, I will go to the better college, my wedding will be paid for-all that.
So, don't let the jealosy consume you- go out and hit the bag, or get another TAT. Just don't get mad at me because I'm the favorite- Just remember, I will one day have power of attorney
Love you, Brother- see you next week

How very sad! When Russell was first diagnosed, two people that I value, who work in the medical profession told me that "Kaiser wants it's cancer patients dead." (Different people, different times.) It was devastating to hear, but also made me realize that I was equally strong out the other side!!!!!!!!!!! Like you, the wind was knocked out of me, but I landed here. As difficult as it was, it helped me to focus even better and find the people who would be helpful, then discard "anything" that was a waste of time! Livestrong!! Sharon
Dawn, we can never know what's in someone's head. That comment seems off the wall. While I would have thought things like Mark and Fed, I would probably have actually said something like, "I have no idea what you mean by that."

(You know what I mean my Jersey Sister). Take time to laugh Dawn. An orchid went bad, but there's still plenty of roses to admire. Have a Fantastic Weekend. Hey Dawn do you know about the party on the 11th? Wanna meet the family?
That comment doesn't even make sense to me -- maybe the lady was trying to say something supportive and just failed miserably? I would try to forget it though and focus on your good news!
Her friend began to tell her (which is cruel!) " Sloans might not want to operate because maybe they already made their death quota! and they dont want anymore deaths!"
All I can say is WTF?!?!
Dawn, you need not dignify such a petulant, ignorant, and insensitive comment by feeling discouraged (I tried to find adjectives that were not swear words, although the latter fit better in this context and are more reflective of my reaction upon reading the quote). You got great news, and you should bask in it.
Dawn, if his markers were at 35 that is cause for worry, the fact that they are down to 10 is cause for rejoicing. What that woman said to Brian's mother wasn't worth repeating. Try to have a nice weekend. Dianne
Feel sorry for the woman who said this Dawn, her Mother apparently didn't have any kids that lived. I guess there's a purpose for all creatures. Some just elude us as to what that is. Ticks, mosqutoes, roaches, and this lady comes to mind. Don't let even the smallest battle that's won be spoiled by shear stupidty. Once we've found the cure for Cancer, perhaps the cure fore ignorance would be a noble cause to pursue. I for one (of many) am elated to hear of Brian's progress. As for that lady (in my standard poetic style) F*&^ her and the *u^k%ng horse she rode in on.

thank you mark, i agree %100! - i know these people arent Drs! but she just had to be a downer! It just makes me worried
DO NOT let your hopes get shot down. There will be strange and rude comments from unlikely places here and there. Are you going to listen to them and let them bother you? No, you are not. You're going to listen to doctors, and blood results, and Brian.
then i talk to her and my hopes just got shot down
