Brian just stated that he was told by the Dr. that the petscan showed slight halo around tumors...... markers are at 5, #'s still low enough for surgery, has to have a liver biospy, and if the Dr. decides they have to operate, it will be a long surgery and they might have to remove a kidney so at thist point, i am still in the dark with everything.

      Dawn,
I'm know exactly how you feel. You are wishing you will get all the answers, but once again you start to play the waiting game. It's so hard waiting for all the results and wondering what exactly will happen next. But it sounds as though Brian is in good hands. I am here for you! I know how fustrating things can get.
      Hugs,

Hi Dawn: Hang in there...I know the waiting and the uncertainty sucks. I always paralleled the waiting game with a heavy fog. It always felt like you were stuck trying to get through the thick of it, but no matter how many steps you took the fog just lingered. Here's hoping that clarity comes your way SOON! Best wishes...we're hoping for good news for you and Brian.

                  Dawn -

This is a hard and confusing time for you both right now, I am sure. Please know how IN LOVE with Joel Sheinfeld I am... and I know many on the forum have such positive things to say about him. It's true, when he says jump around here, everyone asks, how high?? Rob had a nephrectomy also (kidney removed) and he came through with flying colors, so far. We are awaiting pathology, but Sheinfeld was very pleased with the surgery (his own words) and he comes to check on Rob almost every day. He is very involved with his patients. Know that Brian will be here a little longer than the average patient but his caregivers have been wonderful. If you have any questions about anything, send me a PM or I can answer you here.
