Thank you everyone so much for all your posts.

I have some very difficult news. Danny was taken off of the Flavopuridol study this week. His HCG level has doubled since his last treatment. It is the last thing we ever wanted to hear.

We are now frantically trying to figure out what is next. We are looking for clinical trials and second opinions. We are looking for a little hope. It looks like sloan is recommending single agent chemo. Either Gemcitabine or oral itopiside. There are trials at Sloan that danny could qualify for but they look full. We are just trying to figure this out.

We understand the situation but we are not giving up. I believe there must be something out there that can help him.

Thank you all again for all your words and thoughts and prayers.

    Lovestrong always,
    Mikey

I pray with all my might. Keep fighting! Call us any time day or night 908-850-5612. I'm so honored and blessed I know your Family (my Family). I despise the reason why. Get it on the run again. I wish this thing would take a form I could hit. I wish I could get my hands on it. Hang in Little Brothers. Please call us if you need anything. Prayers and hope to a level I've never known before mixed with a hatred towards this thing I've not known before either.
All the Love I have to you,
          Mark
          Michael,
I sent you a PM. My e-mail is [email protected] or [email protected].

Hugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have copied your request for info to the scientists. Because of a few problems that Russell has had, I expect to speak with a most helpful and knowledgable urologist from San Francisco Tomorrow. I will ask his thoughts. This doctor also volunteers at "Second Opinion" in San Francisco. This group, I do believe, functions at the top of Maslow's chart. Although it is set up for info to Californians, I am going to copy and send for any possible ideas or directions. They are top docs on the west coast. (Regional Cancer Foundation-Second Opinion on Gough St in San Francisco.) Words are scarce, love is big....with you, Sharon
