  • New odd lump / ballon

OK I am really really tired so need to make this quick. Sorry if there is a lack of details. I had my right testicle removed and am 4 days away from having my radiation therapy being done. Well I was felling down there and there is something that seems weird. I can feel where the cords and soforth are at that used to be attached to the testicle. Well just recently I have felt what feels like a small (quarter sized or so) fluid filled balloon at the end of those cords. I will be getting to the doc ASAP but my car is broken down. I was just wondering if anyone here could explain this to me. Thank you. If more info is needed I will post in the morning.

That sounds completely normal -- a hematoma (collection of blood) that will gradually be absorbed by the body. I had the same thing. Some call it "the grape."

Just seems odd. It has been like 1 1/2 months since surgery and this was not there after surgery. Is this something that just develops latter?

Hmmm, I'm not as sure about what it is if it took this long to appear. When is your next appointment?

JOTA, this isn't the same thing you posted about in this thread?

Where are you now with treatment and follow-up?

Sorry. Had surgery, and on about day 27 of 30 days of radiation. Been meaning to come here and post but just kept forgetting. Very sorry.
