  • 3 Month Post-Chemo CT

I had my 3 month scan yesterday and everything looks great. That was a great relief to me as the last few days were by far the most stressful I've had since I was first diagnosed. I don't ever get worked up about anything but I couldn't stop worrying about this test.

It was actually pretty interesting as I got to sit with the radiologist and he walked me through the whole scan. He showed me the various things they look at and how the node compared to the previous scans. He said there was nothing remarkable to see. The node is still visible but it's a bit smaller than it was in the scan 3 months ago, no more than 4 mm.
    Left I/O 12/2006
    3/2007 2.2 cm node AFP-53
    4/2007-6/2007 4XEP
    7/2007 5 mm node AFP-6.4
    10/2007 All Clear

This is great, bro. I can totally sympathize with the pre-lab anxiety. Needless to say, though, your patience has been rewarded with a great scan and labs. Rest assured that although the anxiety never goes away fully, it will certainly diminish gradually. I'll raise a glass to your health!
