Does anyone watch Curb Your Enthusiasm? Because I swear Sheinfeld looks like Larry David.

Anyway. Physast, I adore him. My husband had many complications with his surgery and Sheinfeld literally did not sleep until he was well. One night there was a two-unit blood transfusion and Sheinfeld called our nurse every hour on the hour to check on my husband. He was in our room constantly until he knew Rob was truly out of the woods.

He is not warm and fuzzy and it took us almost three weeks to get him to laugh.

No one does anything without his express say-so.

There are many posts on this forum about Dr. Sheinfeld.
He is considered one of the best TC surgeons, probably in the history of medicine. I'm so very happy I went to him for my RPLND, and that was before I knew about this forum.
Your first visit will be quick, don't blink , and take notes.

Don't expect any idle chit chat. He's all business but he's a master at what he does. Are you expecting him to do an RPLND?

Dr.S is the best but don't expect a warm and fuzzy bedside manner, he is very no-nonsense, but one of the best in the world

Lots of members have sat in that waiting room at Sloan. It's a very humbling experience to sit there with so many young guys swapping RPLND and chemo stories. You will definately not feel alone. Let us know how it goes!
