    Good morning forum family!!!!

i cant believe that tomorrow will be a week since Brian's liver surgery!!!!!
wow! it went fast!.... so i wanted to let you know that he is doing great! the past couple of days were a little rough, alot of gas in his belly caused him alot of pain ... and the incision, if i had to estamate is about, 15 inches... yikes!! he is eating food now, and his blood work came back great!... no markers yet, when i asked maryann, she said, there is no reason to worry about the markers going up right now, i guess thats good? ... i dont know wht she meant by that. but, anyway, the most important thing.... BRIAN IS COMING HOME TODAY!!!!! i cant wait!!! i wasnt able to get into the city last night, which broke my heart. i spent the whole time with his there since his surgery....

I also wanted to let you all know that Brian has won a wonderful award!
you all know he is a firefighter in his town, and his cheif nominated him for firefighter of the year, and he won!! he is sooooo happpy. tomorow is the ceremony and he wil get his award in front of hundreds of people!. when he learned that he got the award, he was in so much pain in the hospital, and it just lifted his spirits so much!, i am so proud of him!. he wants to make that ceremony tomorrow if he feels up to it.
