    Hey Karen...

Yes Im going to start my radiation on Tues Nov 27th. So far it's all worked out for me I found a closer facility 12 miles from home. Its a satelite facility afiliated with Loma Linda University. Met with my radiation oncoligist last week. Was going to start this week but the Thanksgiving holiday will be closed on Thur-Fri. Thanks for asking Karen hope your doing well bye.

    Art,
You're over one month past your I/O....still sticking with RT and when do you start?

have you looked at all your options? is radiation the best case for you? depending on the protocol radiation should take place 4-6 weeks after the surgery but can take place later.

    good luck!

    Hi Art:

If I remember correctly, my oncologist told me that if I didn't decide by about 4-6 weeks, I had chosen surveillence by default.

I did ultimatley choose surveillence, and although it is stressful at times, I feel it was right for me.

I re-read some of your other posts, and I might have chosen RT if I had had that unusual set of tumors.

    Best wishes.

    Radiation after I/O

How soon after I/O surgery should radiation start. I had my Left I/O 2 weeks ago just curious what the typical time frame was post surgery? My Dr is going to call me this Monday thanks to all of you for your support.
