  • New Anthony Thread

I decided to start a new Anthony thread, which will hopefully be all positive news from here on out.

Notice the new profile picture of him.. That was taken this weekend when he went on a trip to the Traverse City, MI area with his sister, her kids & hubby, and one of Anthonys friends went along. His hair looks a bit wind blown because he is standing on the shore of lake Michigan on a chilly windy day.

I thought I would point out how great he looks for new guys to see how well he is doing after all his treatments.

Get anything suspicious checked out immediately-

Thanks for sharing. Proclaiming the positives seems like uncharted territory these days. It is not that there is not gratitude, it just seems like the wheel is stuck in the rut of of tasks and concerns. On that note...Russell's hair has come back in ringlets. He has not cut it yet!!! Watching him step back into life is the greatest gift!! Thanks again!!! Sharon

My little guy is big, but not that big

He is 6'3 but he lost all that weight he had put on. He's down to 160 now. He pulls it off well somehow though, and looks broad and strong.

Well I have to say that Anthony looks better then he did before too, but I figured thats because there have been a lot of very good dietary changes.

I buy organics, and feed him a lot of good veggies like kale, collards, broccoli, cabbage, garlic, onions, potatoes, chicken, salads, squash.
Plus he takes herbal supplements that have blue green algae, and other great things that help keep his body alkaline, and another one that detoxifies the body.

I think his body healed much faster than expected because of this, even though my primary goal was to make his immunity very strong to fight for him, and prevent leukemia or other cancers associated with chemotherapy. The changes are very apparent ..

                      Thank YOU

The concerns will always be there, especially when it's time for new markers, x-rays, and scans. Speaking of which, Anthony gets new markers and a chest x-ray this week.

But anyway, proclaiming the positives! Yes! I feel stronger than I did two days ago, and next week my concerns may creep back in. Each new positive result feels like a mile stone to me, even if it's only been 4 months since his surgery.

I'm glad that Russell is carrying on with life, and back to doing normal things that are so often taken for granted. It's amazing how the most ordinary things become so un-ordinary, and give us reason to smile.

                          Let those locks grow Russell!
