  • after treatment

i had a tumor in my right testicle. and had it removed. before the operation, the level of Bhcg in my blood was high, above normal. and it plunged back to normal after the operation with two weeks.
today after 3 months it is back up. ct san and x rays show everything is normal. also an exam of the removed testicle showed no mallgnant cells.
need advice about what to make of all of this?

Hi there, welcome to the Forums!

It MAY mean that you are in for some further treatment. Would you mind giving us a little more info, such as the type of tumor, what your marker levels were, before, after, and now? We may be of more help with that.

I would also suggest, if you have not already done so, that you take some time to read up on the marker issues at the Testicular Cancer Resource Center (TCRC). There is a ton of info there on all things TC.
