I hope I am posting this in the correct place..... I had an UltraSound almost a year ago (11 months). I went to have a small hard lump that was ON THE testicle checked out. The US came back and no cancer was found. There was a Cyst that showed up, however. Three days ago the lump started hurting when I touch it or when it rubs against my pants a certain way. Anyway, to the root of my question..... would the 11 month old UltraSound still be valid? How often should they be repeated? Also, can a cyst become inflamed and start hurting without warning? I do plan on changing Urologists soon but I hope I can get these two questions answered. Thanks to anyone who can help.
