I don't think we've heard from you in some time, Dylan. Are you still checking in? How are things going?

Hi Dylan,
Just wanted to tell you welcome to the forum. It was a lifesaver for me when my son was going through his chemo last spring. You will do great.
Take care of yourself!

Sounds like you are crusing along. I finished chemo in April and just wanted to let you know that it will soon be little more than a distant memory. After that last push, the recovery is almost immediate, minus the hair. Good luck and hang in there. Dont forget to drink, drink, drink ( water ).

Dylan, tell your Mom I said hi...I was with Chris every day from 9-3 and look back now as one of the closest times we had...we were in a small room just the two of us, and had our routine of what shows we would watch etc ...his friends would call from school during chemo and I will never forget them for that.......hang in there....Mary Ellen

Dianne (mom) is right it's all down hill now. As a parent watching them administer the chemo that first day was as bad as it get's.

My son started his first round of 3xBEP last December 13. The day after his 30th birthday. What a difference a year makes. He certainly celebrated his 31st a lot differently. He is very happy, looks great and feels great. You will get through this and believe it or not, it will go quickly. Hang in there, Dylan, we are all routing for you. Tell your Mom that the first day of chemo was the second worst day for me (the diagnosis being the worst). It is all downhill now. Dianne

So far so good
Well I'm happy to report there is nothing to report.
Day 1 went by with just an ever so slight bit of queezyness just when I was going to bed and didn't have any reaction to the drugs as they were being given. I go back in in three hours so can only hope I get lucky again. Of course we know it's cumulative but I can still hope.
I had my mom and 3 friends in the room with me so it was pretty crowded but nice to have the support. Thanks again Merry Ellen, Yvonne and company.
Will be in touch again,
Dylan

Day 1
Hello everyone
Just about to leave to the Cancer Clinic for first treatment......and I'm feeling really good about it.
I wanted to say that it's mainly because of what I've read here and for the comments and information you've all given me. I can't say enough about how much confidence and it's given me and how much it's reduced my anxiety.
Thank you. I will be in touch.
