  • Antioxidants during BEP dilema

I'm posting this thread because I saw here many questions regarding the using or not of antioxidants.
Indeed, the old fashion oncs are trained to bealive that antioxidands may protect the cancerl cells from chemo effect.

Partialy this is true [in LOW doses]

There are many scientific proves that a daily dose of vitamin E [>400 IU] + > 1G vit C during BEP and 3 months after, will improve the chemo activity and, most important, reduces with 60-70 % neuropathy and ototoxicity damage. I tried it and I can say : It's completly TRUE. Based my experience, my oncologist curently use this supplements for all TC patients during BEP chemo. After thousands of hours of study, I decided myself to take 400 IU vitmain E + 1G Vitamin C during my BEP and 3 months after. The results : completly remission + absolutely no side effects !!!.REMEMBER : I had lung nodules in both!!. The recent studies shows that HIGH DOSES of E+C actualy improves the BEP effects. Unfortunately the most oncologists are not up to date with the last researches. Fortunately, my onc was very opened to all news TC articles and, after Vit E and C in high doses usage , she accepted to cancel the 4th round of chemo, acording to Indiana University studies for good risk Nonseminoma. [Initial the plan was 4 rounds]

[please check the scientific articles available on internet]

My onc it'a an amazing lady [33 old - younger than me !!!] who became a real specialist in TC. She cured 12 boys until now [some of theam with very high HCG (350,000) and AFP and bulky abdominal masses] and, most important, very receptively to all news. I was lucky meeting her.

    Let me know your opinions

    All the best
